About the Role:

  • Lead a crew of up to 20 to execute works
  • Communicate Labour requirements to Construction manager/labour allocator
  • Create and assist in gathering tool and equipment lists for works
  • Complete SWMS, prestart, take 5 and permits for works
  • Work to job scopes and schedules and submit daily reports
  • Complete and submit accurately time/day sheets
  • Work collectively with all required stakeholders and managers.
  • Liaise with and plan works with clients as required on the job and attend client meetings if required
  • Develop and complete ITP's and ITC's
  • Participate in trade performance management.
  • Manage Subcontractors on site
  • Ensure effective management of incidents, injuries, and safety concerns, ensuring compliance, resolution and on-site procedures followed.
  • Oversee and lead Alfabs trade labour on site and liaise with site team.

About You:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Site based experience in industrial environment or heavy industry
  • Trade qualification or relevant qualification
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Willing work on tasks involving on and off-site work including irregular hours
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel and stay at distance for work
  • Basic IT skills with Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol testing
  • Hold a current drivers license
  • Current White Card
  • Strong Customer service and Communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of drawings and scope of works
