We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mining Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in customer service, account management, and the mining industry.

Position Overview:
The Mining Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing client accounts within Alfabs Mining. This role will focus on building strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving new business opportunities. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills and be adept at problem-solving and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead customer service efforts for Alfabs Mining, collaborating with internal teams to improve the overall customer experience.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues or escalations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities for new business with existing clients.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of services and products in line with customer needs and objectives.

  • Prepare and manage projections, forecasts, and regular reports for the General Manager – Mining.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of available hire equipment, technical specifications, and applications.

  • Provide commercial expertise and support to the Alfabs Mining business unit

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, along with a current driver’s licence.

  • Experience in the underground mining industry or a similar field is desirable.

  • Proven background in customer service, account management, or client-focused solutions.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a keen ability to problem-solve.

  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office.

  • Deep understanding of the coal mining industry and related equipment.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
